Central North Carolina Band Festival - October 15, 2011
The annual Central North Carolina Band Festival is hosted in mid-October of each year by the bands of Western Alamance High School and Western Alamance Middle School. Bands from throughout North Carolina and Virginia participate in a day of competition, fun, and fellowship. This year, the CNCB will take place on October 15th at Western Alamance High School.

Take I-85/I-40 South/East toward Durham/Raleigh. Take Exit 140 (Alamance Crossing/University
Drive/Elon) and turn Left (North) onto University Drive. Go 2.1 miles and continue North on Cook Road.
Go 1 mile and turn Right (East) onto Haggard Ave. Turn Left (North/East) at the next light onto University
Dr./Elon Bypass. Go 1 mile and turn Left (North/East) onto Shallowford Church Rd. Go 1.6 miles and turn
left (North) onto NC 87. The school is located 1.5 miles on the Right.
From Raleigh/Durham (all points East or North):
Take I-85/I-40 North/West toward Greensboro/Charlotte. Take Exit 140 (University Drive/Elon) and turn
Right (North) onto University Drive. Go 2.1 miles and continue North on Cook Road. Go 1 mile and turn
Right (East) onto Haggard Ave. Turn Left (North/East) at the next light onto University Dr./Elon Bypass.
Go 1 mile and turn Left (North/East) onto Shallowford Church Rd. Go 1.6 miles and turn left (North) onto NC 87.
The school is located 1.5 miles on the Right.
